Local Connections

Are you looking to connect with local workforce improvement representatives? Talking to us is a good place to start. Career T.R.A.C.K. is an active partner of the PA CareerLink® system along with its Business Services Team. As a result, staff works cooperatively with those facilitating www.pacareerlink.pa.gov , the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry’s job-matching system. We are also members of the local Chamber of Commerce and regularly participate in industry partnerships such as the Manufacturing and Healthcare Consortia. Additionally, we operate under the umbrella of the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board whose mission is to provide responsive and innovative leadership that meets the current and future needs of employers and job seekers.

Skilled Workers

When you need new employees, call us first. We may have just the person you’re seeking. Career T.R.A.C.K. staff is constantly working with a group of qualified and experienced individuals who are looking for employment. These individuals are those who are participating in our job seeker services such as job club, computer training, and occupational skills training and include those seeking entry-level opportunities, professionals with bachelor/masters level education, new graduates of occupational skills training and a variety of others. We work closely with these job seekers and can forward for your consideration the resumes of those who have proven to be knowledgeable and reliable as they move through our services. We are not a staffing agency, so there is no obligation to hire.

Young Adult Program Workers
Organizations that become approved worksites for our Young Adult Employment & Training Program get a temporary employee paid 100% by Career T.R.A.C.K.! We can provide you with a young adult (age 16 to 21) who is willing to work but may have a specific barrier to employment. These barriers typically include lack of employment history, lack of marketable skills, and/or a limited understanding of the world of work.

On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Let’s face it, turnover and new hires cost your company money. In fact, you will spend at least 30% of an employee’s salary to replace them with a new hire. You can recoup some of this expense when you hire an eligible candidate through an On-the-Job Training contract. You choose and hire the employee, you train them in the skills they need to become an effective team member, and your company gets money. We will reimburse you a portion of the wages during a contracted training period with this win-win, “earn as you learn” training model. This is your opportunity to expand your business with great candidates that may need training in some key skill areas. If you’re thinking of hiring a new employee, we can make it more affordable for you.

Work Experience Program Workers
Temporary employees paid fully by Career T.R.A.C.K. are available to employers that become approved work sites. These are short term assignments targeted to job seekers who need current/updated work history and/or marketable skills. If things go well and you would like to retain and train the employee further, we may be able assist with those costs through the On-the-Job Training program.

“[OJT is] a wonderful program with minimal paperwork and an opportunity for employers to train new hires. The process was smooth. Career T.R.A.C.K. staff was always available, and it was nice having a contact person to call whenever the need arose.” —Regina V.
