Our mission is three-fold:
1) to help individuals who are marketable find a job
2) to help those without a solid skill set get appropriate training for today's job market
3) to assist employers in fulfilling hiring needs
Our staff offers decades of experience to help job seekers and employers reach these goals.
We can provide these FREE services through the use of federal grant funding received under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which provides the framework for a national workforce system designed to meet both the needs of the nation’s businesses and the needs of job seekers. We offer an array of services including a simple needs assessment and referral, a more comprehensive assessment of skills, job search assistance, and help paying the costs associated with occupational training.
Employers can also benefit as we work hard to provide a skilled workforce that meets the needs of our local employers. This can be accomplished through initial services such as referring qualified job seekers for open positions but can include more intensive and training services so that local job seekers are qualified to perform effectively in the jobs employers need to fill.
